Spring Registration is now open!

 

Skate Canada fee $35.65 is required and is non-refundable. This fee includes registration with Skate Canada, Safe Sport Initiative Fee, and Accident insurance. This fee is only charged once per skater, per season (valid Sept 2018 to Aug 2019)

The CanSkate-PreSchool session is reserved for children ages 3 (on April 1, 2019) and age 4. Lessons are in a play-based group format using age-appropriate activities. This group begins with a 5 minute off-ice warm up in the dressing room and various on-ice games, activities and circuits. 

PreSchool skaters must wear a face-mask/cage on their helmets for their own safety.

This program will have a variety of different instructional and practice formats that align with Skate Canada's guidelines and recommendations for STAR 1-3 skaters. Skaters will have the opportunity to learn new skills in a wide variety of areas, take tests, celebrate achievements, enter competitions if they choose, and further develop their figure skating skills and abilities. Skaters will be able to work on skills that are at their appropriate level and also be challenged by new elements and skills. 

Skaters will be taught by our club's team of Professional Figure Skating coaches and all lesson fees are included in the registration fee. Skaters will receive semi-private, small group, workshop, classes, and station-style instruction and will also have supervised practice time on each session. Skaters will also receive one-on-one instruction on an as needed basis from a member of our coaching team to ensure they're getting the best possible instruction and direction as they develop their skating skills.

All session dates are tentative and subject to change.

Program Description:

Year End Party - Hatfield Farms

The end of year party for the Sackville Skating Club has been booked for May 5th at 3pm at Hatfield Farms!

Party is open to Development, Academy, Star, and Elite Skaters. Chaperons will be provided. Pickup after party is at 6 PM.
We will need a signed waiver for each skater attending.
We will have them available at the rink if anyone wants to pick one up ahead of time.
